Well, if he's not your type, he's not your type. But don't take this the wrong way or anything, Caitlin, but when you DO get a boyfriend...I think he'll want to...you know...hug you. That is like the most basic intimate thing you can do, y'know? You're not going to find someone who you're going to be romantic with that's not going to want to do something like that first, I think. It's different with this guy, because you wouldn't want to give the wrong idea. However, just for future references, you might want to give into the idea that you'll have to um...hug, if only on occasion.
Other than that, I dont have much else to say. |

Yeah I know... I hope that if I get a bf I'll WANT to hug him at least, b ut I really have no idea. Or maybe he'll understand and we'll substitute it with something else. Hmm... Maybe I can make up a hug I like or can tolerate. It's mainly the enwrapping of the arms that I don't like. I wish I could explain it b'cuz then I could fix why I don't like 'em... |

Well, since we know you, we get it and all. But I think most people would think that it's either because you don't like them or that it shows you don't want to be intimate with them. Or, if you had a longer relationship, he might come to think you have problems with getting close like that.
Hugs are kind of strange but I don't mind them so much because I was hugged a lot as a child and stuff so maybe that's why. If there's no wrapping of the arms, I dont think it's a hug but what about hugging from behind or the neck or something? Maybe facing the person is a problem. |
