(Just because I wuvvles Shinta. The other two will be original XD)

Shinta yawned gently, turning over on his side, pursing his lips and sighing gently, curling under the thick blanket. He slowly opened his eyes and scowled softly as the sun strained through what could get through the barred windows. Groaning, he turned over again towards where Ehren was the night before.

Ehren stood a few feet away from the bed, staring out of the slightly tinted loft windows. The windows comprised two whole walls of the residence, floor to ceiling. They were bulletproof, naturally, though there wasn't much of a threat from thirty floors above the ground.

Ehren stood there, completely nude, arms crossed, legs shoulder-length apart. It was cold in the loft. His body was covered in goose-flesh, but he was too deep in thought to notice. The morning sun glistened off of his bare, tan skin. He had black, nearly shoulder-length hair tied swiftly into a pony tail. A few wisps of hair hung to the sides of his face. Ehren never particularly cared about his appearance. He found his hair to be more of an annoyance than anything, and thus only tied his hair back for practical purposes. His green eyes fluttered from side to side rapidly, like the wings of a humming bird. It was an uncontrollable quirk that frequently occured while he was in deep thought.

The elf spent many hours at a time doing nothing more than thinking. He was an intelligent man. Even his physical appearance was that of an intellectual. The appearance was strengthened by his frameless glasses with small, rectangular lenses. He had always been intelligent. In school he was nearly the top of his class. Maybe he wasn't first, but he was close. School had always bored him, and so he never really tried.

Many thoughts ran through Ehrens mind. He thought about business. "Business" is what he called matters concerning the criminal activities of his underground crime syndicate. Usually business ran well. They took part in blackmail, extortion, kidnapping, the works. Ehren planned every activity of his organization, and he was good at his job. It was very rare for anyone to be killed.

Such things were not unheard of, however. His men followed him blindly, like sheep. But sometimes sheep stray. When his sheep stray, Ehren's well-oiled business turns to shit. When his sheep stray, people die.

Ehren remained in the same pose, completley motionless except for his fluttering eyes. He thought of future plans. He thought of ways to get more influence, money, and power. Ehren's secret weapon was knowing everyone's secrets. A high-ranking Knight in charge of preventing a terrorist attack. He could have done it easily were he not in a dark alley downtown buying drugs at the time. There was a judge, who was currently deciding quite possibly the most important court case of the decade, who likes to fuck ten-year old boys. The president of a major corporation was selling weapons of mass desctruction to ministers from other countries. Ehren knew everyone's secrets.

Suddenly an image of Shinta flashed in the elf's mind, disrupting his intricate planning. He began to think of the events of the night before. Shinta's longing eyes, his supple lips, his delightfully pink nipples, his perfectly formed, bare ass. Ehren thought of how he had brushed his fingers up Shinta's thighs and how he had kissed his mouth. Their tongues touched with a maddening sensation.

Ehren tried to flush the thoughts away, but it was in vain. He needed to think of business. Business is what mattered most right now, but he couldn't concentrate. He could hear the sharp gasp Shinta made when Ehren thrust inside of him. He could hear the moan Shinta made when Ehren went down on him.

The man felt his body quiver, but he resisted the urge to move. Moving was a sign of weakness, and even though no one was there to witness it, Ehren refused to show any sign of weakness. Ehren felt his body become hot, but still he did nothing. He remained perfectly still, continuing to stare out the window.

Then a wholey new and disturbing thought entered Ehren's mind. What if someone found out about his secret?

Shinta stared at Ehren's back for a moment before yawning again, sitting up. Stretching, arching his back, he crawled out of bed, wrapping the quilt around his shoulders with a pout. Silly Ehren got out of bed and took the warmth with him…Walking over to his companion, he wrapped his arms around him, taking the blanket with him and wrapping it around both of them. He relaxed his cheek against his back and sighed contently, basking in the warmth of his body.

“You should come back to bed…I know you’re tired.”

And Shinta knew he was tired. It was night full of heated passion, strange and unlike Ehren. He never gave in to pleasure…but Shinta was glad he did. Lacing his hand through his lover’s, he lifted it and kissed the back of it, smiling.

Ehren jumped when he felt Shinta wrap his arms around him. That was a sign of weakness that he coudln't control. He was so deep in thought that he couldn't sense the younger man's presence approach him. He hoped Shinta didn't notice.

His heart raced quietly, still a little startled by the sudden interruption. He was pleased, however. He felt like he was melting in the warmth. It wasn't until now, in the arms of his lover, that he noticed how cold he had been all morning, and how stiff his muscles were.

Suddenly his knees felt weak. Ehren wanted to just collapse on the floor, but he did not. That would definitely be a sign of weakness.

Ehren said nothing to Shinta. He felt compelled to, but he couldn't bring himself to speak at the moment. He felt... odd. He continued to stare out the window, his nose nearly touching the glass. He looked down at the streets thirty floors below them. The people seemed to be nothing but dots littering the sidewalks.

The man started to become paranoid. He felt as if someone was watching them, causing a prickling feeling in the back of his neck.

After a moment he slowly and quietly asked, "Do you believe they can see us from down there?"

Shinta smiled, feeling Ehren slightly react to his actions. He asked in anyone could see them...? Shinta scowled and pulled away for a moment before hugging him again, gently rubbing his sides lovingly, purring and nibbling at his long elfin ear.

"Doubtful...we're pretty high up. Why?"

A shiver ran up the elf's spine. No, of course they couldn't see him. Ehren wasn't even sure why the thought had crossed his mind. The windows were tinted and they were thirty floors above ground. He had never been concerned about being seen before.

But you have never been with another man before.

Was he afraid of getting caught? So what if he was with a man. That should be of no concern to others.

But you know it will be. They will hate you for it.

Who will hate him? His friends? His followers? Everyone? Why were these thoughts coming to him?

Ehren had the distinct feeling that for hte first time his thoughts were failing him. For the first time he was afraid.

"I think it would be best if you leave," Ehren finally said to Shinta. He didn't really want to send away his love, and he hoped the young man realized that. However...

You must keep this a secret.

Shinta was a little caught off guard, releasing Ehren quickly, backing away out of shock. Staring at his feet quickly, he swallowed and nodded, quickly sorting around for the clothes that belonged to him. Clumsily pulling his pants on, he mumbled incoherently apologies, though he didn’t know what he’d done wrong. He’d assume it was something…

Swallowing hard again, he started to rush from the bedroom. It hurt a bit but he could get over it…he’d been used before.

Ehren felt guilty as soon as the words had left his mouth. He felt confused. His whole body became numb and there was a dull pain in his skull. Still he never moved.

He listened to Shinta preparing to leave. He sounded upset. Was it so wrong what he said? Did Shinta not understand? Of course he didn't. How could he? Ehren never told him half the things that go through his mind. Shinta had always blindly obeyed, just like all of those other sheep that follow him. The poor boy. Shinta was too good to be here.

Ehren wanted Shinta to leave. He was afraid of people finding out about their relationship. He was afraid of being close to another person. He was afraid that Shinta might be harmed because of him. Ehren knew he couldn't go on if something happened to his love.

The elf heard the door open. Without thinking, he ran to Shinta and hugged his waist from behind. He didn't care that he was standing completely nude in the hall. He just held Shinta there, refusing to let him go.

"I'm so sorry, Shinta... please... I can't be alone right now," Ehren whispered into the younger man's ear. He just now became aware of the tear rolling down his own cheek.

Shinta frowned softly, unsure of why his lover was acting so erratic and wrapped his arms around him gently, stroking his hair soothingly.

"I just thought you needed some time alone, Ehren...I don't have to go anywhere."

He had been acting so strange lately...Shinta was starting to worry. He guided him back towards the bed, hoping to calm him further.

With Shinta next to him, Ehren began to feel strong again. He had been ashamed of his relationship with another man, but he had to remain logical. How would anyone find out? He had always been careful not to make any wrong moves, and he will continue to do so. And besides, he loved Shinta too much to discard him.

Ehren wiped the last tear from his face and stood up straight. He formed a straight face, which always made him look a little listless. grabbing Shinta's hand, he receded back into the condo.

Finally deciding that he had enough of being shamefully naked, Ehren pulled out his favorite suit. Black slacks, black shirt, black tie (black underwear). Black was a good color on him. Ehren understood that colors held meanings. Red is the color of power. It is strong and commanding. Ehren never wore red. It made him look brash. He never wore white, either, because it made him look soft. For some reason, he felt that black just suits him.

Ehren put on the rest of his clothes. His black socks, black leather dress shoes with a pointed toe, his leather belt with a silver buckle the gleamed brightly against all the dark garments. He wore a single earring in his right ear. It had a small silver cross that dangled from his ear. Ehren wasn't a religious man, but he liked the symbol of the cross. He thought it represented himself and the sacrifices he has made in his own life. Maybe it was a little blasphemous comparing himself to a religious figure, but he didn't care.

His hair had already been tied back in a sloppy cross between a bun and a pony-tail, so he went to fetch his leather trench coat from the closet (black, of course). It was a little cliche. A mob boss wearing a trench coat. The "Trench Coat Mafia." Whatever. It looked good on him.

Finally Ehren turned to Shinta in full attire.

"How do I look?"

Shinta smiled a weary smile, walking over towards Ehren and wrapping his arms around him, sighing.

"You look wonderful as always, Ehren...I'm just wondering why you're acting so strangely lately. Is it something I've done?" he asked, looking up at the other with a cute expression, "If I've done anything, please tell me..."

He took his hand, kissing his palm gently in a show of complete affection. He may have been used in the past but Ehren was different...he made him happier than any other ever had. It would have stung more having been abandoned by him and the thought that he'd done anything wrong...

A wave of guilt washed over Ehren as Shinta asked the question. In a way, Ehren did blame Shinta for his condition. Had he not fallen in love with the young man, he would not be so ashamed.

Ehren couldn't bring himself to reveal such unfiltered truth. He knew Shinta was soft, and saying such a thing would probably kill him. Ehren stepped closer to the younger man and embraced him in apology to his own thoughts. He felt horrible just thinking the way he did.

"You have done nothing wrong," Ehren spoke into Shinta's ear. He didn't think he was capable of telling Shinta exactly what was wrong. Maybe the truth could be spoken later, but not now.

Ehren grinned slightly and took Shinta by the hand. "C'mon!" he said light-heartedly, "The world awaits!"

(Yum, six month break...but I was rather influenced by their Sims so I just need to write...)

Shinta smiled almost indulgently at Ehren as he took his hand. He was always being lied to, it seemed. Ehren probably considered it his way of protecting him from the bad things. If he was only so naive.

It would take a fool not to know that the older elf was tied up in things, things that he couldn't tell Shinta about. And if he did, it was only in short. But Shinta could link things together, knew that his lover was dangerous, not one to be toyed with...

Shinta couldn't be exactly sure how this relationship started. One version in his mind said they met at a party, another, on an empty street corner. But Shinta did remember the need...the need to get to know this man. He should have known from the beginning that what lied underneath his exterior wasn't rainbows and butterflies, but alas, it didn't stop him from pursuing.

He wondered what his mother would think...what would his father think? Mamoru wouldn't persecute him for being with a man, nor would his mother, but what about a man like Ehren? The type of man the two would have fought so hard to get rid of if they felt him to be a threat...

Hugging Ehren's arm, he smiled, closing his eyes. But none of that mattered...he could pretend to ignore the bad things. It would take something ridiculously horrid to push Shinta away...
