Vincent remember it being the most inspirational thing to happen in his life...it made things so clear. And it all started with a simple sleepover.

Dante had, at recess, questioned if Vincent wanted to come over with him and a few of the others to have a sleepover. Dante HAD asked before, it was just Vincent knew he'd have to say no...but this time, excited, he agreed.

Because this time, his mother was away on a mission.

He'd be home that day, of course, but usually he fell out from exhaustion after being out on the fields for a week. Vincent could get away with it...

On the way to Dante's house, he followed him and was vaguely confused why he was the only one...

"Well, the others went to get there stuff or whatever" Dante replied, waving a hand.

Vincent paused, surprised, "Then should I go too...?"

Dante shook his head, "You can come in. I haven't told my mom yet so it's not really like she's agreed."

This shocked Vincent as well, "You haven't told her??"

Dante shrugged, "Wouldn't be the first time."

"Won't she say no??"

If Vincent had tried to do anything impromptu back then, his mother would yell at him until his ears started to bleed.

Dante just seemed bewildered, "We don't have anything planned tonight so I don't see why she would."

Opening the door, Dante walked into the house and Vincent stood at the door, gazing in.

Dante's mother was napping on the couch as Dante smirked, rolling his eyes.

"Hey ma" he replied in a waking voice.

Vincent was mortified for Dante...if he woke his mother from a nap (which he would never do), he'd, once again, yell until he was blue in the face. And saying 'hey ma'...he'd probably get slapped.

But...she sat up, yawned, stretched, and stared at Dante sleepily for a moment before yawning again.

"Oh...Dante."

Stretching once more, she stood...and didn't do anything. Vincent had to admit that back then, he was very confused.

"Guess what? I didn't get into any fights today" said Dante rather proudly.

His mother smirked, "That's probably something to be proud of."

Vincent inhaled a little when she leaned down to kiss his cheek and Dante didn't really push her away...

Vincent was sure his mother had never kissed his cheek or...anything. All he could remember was yelling and his mother's angry face...

She stood straight and glanced at him, "Oh, hi Vincent."

"Hello..." he greeted sheepishly.

"Mom, can I have a sleepover?" Dante asked so simply.

His mother crossed her arms, tapping her chin, "I don't know, your father will be home and probably will be tired..."

"We won't make too much noise, promise. We'll be in the living room" Dante insisted.

She waved her hand simply, "All right."

Vincent's eyes widened. 'All right'? ...That was it? Dante turned to him, removing his backpack as his mother wandered into one of the bedrooms.

"You can go get your stuff. Probably just another set of clothes for tomorrow. We have cots to sleep on."

"O...kay..." Vincent murmured.

Dante tilted his head, "You okay?"

"Uh, yea! I'll be back soon" he nodded, rushing out the door.

His eyes stung a bit as he ran home, not understanding why everyone else's parents seemed so...

Understanding.

Vincent walked into his house, a little concerned that his mother might have returned early and would blow this idea to bits but from what he could tell, he wasn't there yet, so...

Looking into the room, he saw the television was on and he knew Tifa wasn't here so...

He walked farther in and found his dad stretched out on their couch. Feeling relieved, he cleared his throat.

"Hi dad."

Jon looked up before sitting up, stretching, "Hi, Vincent."

Vincent sat next to his dad, something he was a lot more comfortable doing with his father. His father was a lot more understanding than his mother and tried everything to get the man to loosen up but...it just never worked.

"Dad...Dante is having a sleepover and I was...wondering if I could go?" he asked nervously.

But regardless, he was still kind of nervous around both his parents. He knew why with his mother but his father he had no idea...

And his father agreed easily, as Dante's mother had when he told her he wanted to have a sleepover...

His father gave him some money as well, something Tidus McCue would rather gnaw his own hand off than give Vincent.

"So you can contribute to the pizza fund" his father explained.

Vincent felt grateful back then...well, he felt grateful now, but...

He awkwardly hugged his father who hugged him back just as Avri walked in. He stared at them before questioning what was up.

"I'm going to a sleepover" explained Vincent.

"...But mother wouldn't let you do that" Avri said slowly.

Vincent gave him a hateful glare. Avri was like mother's puppet, always spouting out what mother would or wouldn't do if he wasn't there to see to it himself. But Jon didn't seem bothered.

"It's nothing to get worried over anyway.

Avri looked irritated and Vincent had to wonder if he was jealous. The boy almost refused to make friends and generally wasn't all that friendly anyway...

But whatever.

When Vincent came in, everyone was dancing around childishly. He'd never danced a day in his life but joined in just because everyone else was...

It was really weird...even Vicious was dancing, which amazed him. But it was fun as they laughed...thinking about it now, even Vincent had to laugh a bit. They probably looked ridiculous.

The door opened and no one really stopped dancing. It was Dante's father who'd been on the mission with Vincent's mother. He winced to himself. This might still go badly.

"...Did our kids multiply somehow?" questioned Adrian, cocking a brow at them.

"No, Daw's having a sleepover."

Dante's mother walked away from where she'd been preparing snacks for them. When Vincent's mother came home, he'd instantly start yelling at him and Tifa, praised Avri, and interrogated Jon...it wasn't happy times.

But....

Instead, Dante's parents hugged and talked amongst themselves, seeming happy to see one another...

Vincent had stopped dancing and stared in amazement...what was THAT?

Dante's mother had told Vincent to keep the money his father had given him and get something for himself. Never would this happen at his house, his mother was almost stingy... but then, he'd learned a lot of things were different than at his house.

Raihn came in, grabbing a slice of pizza, and they all ate, chattering amongst themselves about everything. School, toys, anything...

"I think I want to cut my hair" said Mae, pondering.

"What?? Why?" demanded Dante.

"Because it's long and gets in the way when I'm doing stuff" she pouted.

"Then put them up like Chun-Li" Dante shrugged.

Some of the kids were confused about this comment and who Chun-li was... it sounded like it might be some relative of Mae's but...Dante searched through a stack of CD like things and showed her.

"Oxhorns" Mae stated, blinking, "Would those look okay?"

Dante shrugged, "Probably."

"Okay!" she said happily, "Now we have to work on your hair!"

"WHAT'S wrong with my hair?" he demanded.

"It just looks like you rolled out of bed with it, is all" she replied, giggling.

He tackled her playfully and she squealed, play fighting with him. Vincent blinked and Raihn laughed, "Dante's hair is cool."

Dante grinned lazily but didn't release Mae. She squirmed but laughed as he tickled her. Tifa and the others were talking among themselves now. And Raihn and him talked about 'the old days'...when they were four and would pick daisies and such. He loved those days...

He glanced to Dante and Mae. Dante finally let go of Mae who still looked amused...

He wouldn't mind playing around like that with Raihn or whatever. He'd known Raihn pretty much as long as Dante had known Mae...but his mother yelled at him for wrestling with TIFA, apparently thinking there was something inappropriate about it. Tifa and him did inappropriate stuff now just to freak him out...pervert bastard.

But back then...back then, he wouldn't have laid a hand on Raihn, or any other girl, just because he knew he'd get yelled at.

When Vincent came back from Dante's room after changing into his pajamas, everyone had fallen asleep already.

Dante slept kind of funny, he noted, and Mae was right next to him...he would have kicked himself if he was there now because he told himself it was wrong to sleep next to a girl...even in separate beds. Ugh...

But the only bed left was the one next to Raihn.

He watched her for a moment before flipping the light switch, crawling into
bed and falling asleep for a couple minutes...

"Vinny..."

He opened his eyes and found Raihn gazing at him, smiling sleepily...he felt disturbingly fuzzy inside...

"Don't Mae and Dante look like they're married" she whisper yawned.

He blinked, confused, looking back at the two.

Sometime during the night, the two had pushed their beds together and indeed, though they weren't cuddling or anything, they did look...couply.

He turned to tell that to Raihn but paused.

She'd already fallen asleep...he stared at her for a moment longer before slowly shifting his cot a little closer as well.

<a>

He slept well that night...but he was happy...it didn't mean anything else...

Right?

It didn't really need to be said, honestly, that when he got home, his mother had a hellish fit. He yelled, shrieked, that Vincent was not to go over to ANYONE'S house without his permission.

"Who else was there?!" demanded the man.

"J-just..." Vincent mumbled.

"There were girls there too, weren't there?!" he screamed.

"S-so what! Tifa was there too!" Vincent pointed out.

"She shouldn't have been there either!! Why are you such a stupid disobedient child?!"

This almost brought Vincent to tears. He didn't THINK he was stupid or disobedient but...was he? Was he doing something wrong? Was it bad for him to stay over with his friends? To have fun...?

WAS something wrong with him?

When he looked up, he was surprised to find Tifa standing between them, glaring angrily at their mother. Tifa was never scared of Tidus, never, and Vincent wished he could be more like her...

"Vincent is not stupid or disobedient! He asked daddy if he could go! We were at one of the places daddy and you hang out too so it's not like it was dangerous or ANYTHING! The only stupid one is you!"

Tidus looked vehement and Tifa glowered at Vincent briefly before stomping off upstairs. Finally, he looked back to Vincent.

"You are to stay in your room unless I call you. You are to come STRAIGHT home after school. If I hear that you even TALKED to these--"

Vincent couldn't stand this, the more rules Tidus laid down, the more he felt like kicking him. How dare he? He dare he be a monster when all his friends mothers actually LOVED their children? How dare he keep him locked in this damn house and away from his friends? WHY couldn't he have women as friends...? Did...did Vincent HAVE to be like him.

"NO!"

Tidus was taken back as Vincent screamed furiously, "I will NOT stay in my room, I will NOT come straight home after school, I will TALK to whoever I want, and I will be FRIENDS with whoever I want. I'm sick of listening to you!"

Vincent walked away and Tidus pretty much shrieked, "Vincent Elliot McCue, you WILL listen to me! I'm your mother!"

Vincent stared as his father walked in, looking puzzled, before commenting coldly, "And this is me not caring."

He walked to Tifa's room. She was sitting on her bed, looking miserable. He'd needed her to defend him for too long against their mother. He stared at her and smiled some.

"Dante and the others said they were going skating right...?"

She glanced at him and nodded. He smiled wider.

"Then let's go."

Tidus explained to Jon why he was yelling at Vincent and Jon could tell that the man wanted back up...

But he wouldn't have it. He was a prison warden, not a mother. Now all those crazy rules had turned against him and it would be TIDUS' mess to clean up, not his. He'd never forbade Tifa or Vincent from doing anything...this was Tidus' fault, not his. And he told him so.

"How can you say that?! You want him to hangout with girls?! What if he's straight?!" demanded Tidus so very seriously...

Jon stared at him, wide-eyed. He'd wondered why Vincent was forbidden from being with girls but it was...because of THAT?

"Our son could be straight whether he hangs out with girls or not. How could that even be an issue with you? He's our son."

Tidus opened his mouth to reply but much like Vincent, Jon was sick of listening.

"I'm going for a walk. Don't wait up for me."

"What?! Jon, where are you going?!" Tidus demanded.

But he was already gone...

Avri watched with a cocked brow before rolling his eyes. How silly...

No one's dying! XP Next chapter should be awesomeness because I have new clothes for us and I have made Lucifel for the occasion...

I briefly wanted the 'Free Time' expansion because I think they've added a spy career...AND when your kids grow up, you can actually choose three other friends to grow up along with them...you have no idea how much time that would save me. Growing kids up takes like 5 minutes per family. God! But then, I don't want my computer to die for...pie contests and...repairing cars?

I'm not buying another expansion unless its as ground-breaking as Seasons. You know how long I waited for weather?! Free-time sounds stupid.

I think my favorite would be Seasons-Bon Voyage (What can I say...swimming in the ocean and my sim having a piercing makes it all better)-Nightlife (CARS)-University(Um...Guitars I guess)- Open for Business (It was kind of useless in the end, really)- Pets (WHY! I want to remove it but my game would die T-T)

I mean, I guess pottery is cool...and... (also, this is supposable the last expansion...)

...

Wait, I'll think of something. Pies! Wait, you can make pies already...

I guess they wanted to focus more on thesims3.com (Jynxy says it looks good but I guess I had too high expectations) I don't want it ^^; It was near impossible to hack this one so that means The Sims 3 will take until The Sims 4 to be hacked x.x (Mm, Sims 4, looking forward to that one...so I can ignore my kids and play it) Also, I can only imagine the system requirements... ^_^; I'll leave it alone until I get reviews because I'm not really hyped about it...

Oh! No...still nothing. God, they couldn't go out with a good expansion pack?

Bah, Jynxy interrupted me while I was trying to get the next scene pics done...tomorrow!

It's not my fault that you were interrupted! And you know, it really didn't take that long for people to make mods and stuff for the Sims 2. You've been using mods for YEARS for this game. And you said the exact same thing when Sims 2 came out "They won't have mods for it until Sims 3 comes out." And I think it does look better XP But you shouldn't worry about system requirements too much because frankly I think you need a new computer anyway, if it really is as bad as you say it is. You keep talking about how one more download is going to kill it, so either you're exaggerating constantly or you need to upgrade!

And I got a pic from the sims 2 and the sims 3 to compare. Slight difference:

I've been downloading since...2005? 2006, I guess. So yea, while mods and clothes have been out since the beginning, it's just started to get really good. And while I do want another computer, my dad is pretty anti-PC right now so I'd have to buy it. I think I'll just update memory and I'll be fine. The 'blowing' up part is exaggerated, it's just the more downloads you have, the more it takes to load.

It'll probably be pretty when custom skintones come out. I'm not feeling the eyes right now either but I'll admit the hair looks a lot more impressive...and the ears kind of bother me too. But yea, once there's custom content, it'll be sweet ^_^ (I'm just happy with my Sims 2...)

The part that excites me right now is you can seamlessly walk from one house to another or from your house to downtown. And making more customizable personalities sounds fun (I read you can make your character a klepto). I'm looking forward to it and I don't even play the sims XD And the game doesn't come out for more than a year, so it is still in production and will probably look better than it does right now.

Oh, so sleepy...I have a comment that I'll have to make later. Here's the next part...

 “So dear…may I ask where you and Adrian are heading?”

Arian Valentine never really questioned what his son and daughter-in-law did when they went out…they were adults, four children, jobs…they were responsible. Just sometimes he found his curiosity got the better of him when they were dressed well…like this.

Cooking dinner wouldn’t have seemed so odd if she wasn’t wearing this ensemble. It was kind of awkward but she said that they were close to being late for…whatever.

“We’re going dancing, Ari” she replied, interrupting his thoughts, “It’s not far from here. Some friends of Lakyle opened a night club so we decided we’d check it out.”

“Ah, I see…”

“You don’t mind watching the kids, do you?” she questioned, “I don’t want to mess up any plans you had.”

“No, no, of course not” he waved a hand, “You two work all the time…you deserve some time to yourselves.”

“Aww, that’s my dad…pretending to be understanding.”

Arian lifted his head, cocking a brow at his son’s outfit…a black scarf covered his mouth like a muffler and…well, it was just weird. But he smirked.

“I don’t really have much to do anyway.”

Adrian sat down and sighed, “Baby, you should hook him up with someone.”

Arian scoffed. Two failed relationships…it was the last thing he’d ever want. Adrian smiled some, “I guess that’s a no, huh?”

Andrea set the plates of linguine pesto at the table, “Leave your daddy alone, Adri.”

Adrian just sighed again and their children dashed in from their rooms, seating themselves. They stared at Adrian as if he was crazy…

“What?” he questioned, pushing the scarf down to eat.

“Nothing…” Dante commented slowly.

“Anyway, how was school?” Adrian asked, changing the subject.

“Boring” yawned Adriana.

“I thought it was cool today” replied Dante, “Vincent’s a lot happier now, since the sleepover.”

“Oh? What changed?” questioned Adrian.

Dante shrugged, “I think he’s started ignoring his mom.”

“Oh…I…guess that’s a good thing.”

“Tidus is nuts, Adrian” Andrea muttered, taking a soda out of the fridge.

Adrian sighed, “You’ll, unfortunately, get no argument from me on that…I don’t know how he turned to…this. He isn’t the Tidus I knew at all anymore…”

Andrea sipped her soda, glancing at her husband. He looked depressed…

Tidus and him had had a brotherly relationship. But some years back, he started acting really, really weird…like a class-A, for lack of a better word, asshole. She wasn’t particularly pleased at how he treated his children or how he pretty much destroyed any authority Jon had. She always saw them, leaving her shrine, Vincent, Tifa, and Jon, wandering around, delaying going home…

But…what HAD happened to him? What turned him from such a sweet adorable guy to this…monster?

“Holy jeez, is that all you’re going to have?” questioned Adrian incredulously, staring at his wife as she only had soda.

“I’m not hungry” she shrugged.

“You haven’t been ‘hungry’ for a while” he grunted, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing…” she remarked absently.

She had random visions every once and a while…and it’d been 10 or so years ago that she’d had this dream…

The demons…

That one demon…the one that they hadn’t been able to find on their mission…he was back. She just didn’t know why…

Du…
Du hast.
Du hast mich.
Du…
Du hast.
Du hast mich.
Du. Du hast. Du hast mich.
Du. Du hast. Du hast mich.

Jon danced to the odd German song…the club was as he expected…really rock-like. But no matter…it got him out of that damn house.

He was pretty sure Vincent and Tifa had left and gone to spend the night with Tidus’ sister. Which probably had left Tidus in a bad mood…all the more reason to get out of the house. But…

Something about this outing made him feel…lonely. He wouldn’t have dared invite Tidus to this. He’d be complaining the whole time and would be jealous of any guy that bumped into him…

He danced and glanced around at his companions…

Donna and Tesstory were happy…

Lysa and Tali were happy…

Van and Jynrei were happy…

Sree and Tate were happy…

Laura and Ryan were happy…

Andrea and Adrian were happy…

Caitlin (and all said personalities) and Lakyle were happy…

…So why wasn’t he?

Why was he the only one that seemed to have made the most horrible decision of his life by marrying Tidus and having kids with him? Why, in the end, had his friends been so much more successful…? Why had he made a bad choice…?

Maybe that was just his luck…Jesse, all his other relationships…Tidus had seemed perfect…but he’d been mistaken.

Du hast mich

Do you hate me?

He had to wonder…

“Hey, I’m going to go grab a drink” he told the group before walking off.

He hated that his fellow sages and their husbands actually got along while he lingered in his cold shrine for as long as humanly possible. He never wanted to go home anymore…the only reason he did go was to possibly protect his kids but Tidus had even started making that impossible. They were his kids too…

He ordered a drink and sipped it slowly. All those years ago, Tidus wanted so badly to marry him and yet, when it happens, when Jon gives him everything he can, he becomes…this?

There wasn’t even a WORD for what Tidus was now.

Divorce, Donna suggested simply. If only it were that simple. Tidus was, despite the oddity, Vincent and Tifa’s mother. Meaning, custody would probably go straight to him. Of course Jon could fight it but who knew how long that’d take? His kids would probably be adults by the time he had a chance of winning.

But Tidus was pretty much abusing them right? Verbally, in the least. He could use that against him….

He was lonely, on top of everything else.

“Vodka please.”

Jon looked up, startled, at the guy that had appeared without him noticing. He had reddish brown hair, a mask, and was wearing hot pants…interesting, he noted, but decided maybe it was best he head back to the floor…

“Hello there.”

He stopped and glanced at the stranger who was sending him an odd smile, “I noticed you and your friends out there…why are you all alone, hmm?”

“Oh, uh…husband’s…sick” he made an excuse.

Excuses…

“Really? Hitched…too bad” he sighed, “I was going to invite you to hang out with me instead…”

“Probably not a good idea” Jon said without consternation.

The guy stared at him before smiling, leaning towards him, “Tell me…you don’t seem happy. Anything I can do to cheer you up?”

Jon briefly felt a little unsettled about this but decided that it couldn’t really be helped. Getting hit on at a club wasn’t unusual, right? He shook his head, about to wander away but the stranger grabbed his arm and pulled him close. Feeling very vaguely alarmed, the guy started to whisper in his ear.

“I can do anything…your husband probably has nothing compared to me.”

Before Jon could comment, the guy wrapped his arms around him…

They pressed tightly against each other and Jon was shocked…he’d pulled away before Jon could even process what’d happened. The guy grinned and Jon could start to see where this was going when he knelt…

“Care to make this interesting…?” he questioned.

At a complete loss, Jon was surprised…surprised that he wasn’t having any qualms about letting this random stranger do as he pleased. Tidus would kill him if he knew but maybe that just made it all the more appealing…

“…Um.”

They both jumped at the random voice and glanced towards the doorway...

“We got a little worried when you didn’t come back” Andrea replied, staring at the stranger, “Sorry to interrupt.”

“Well, uh…”

The guy didn’t look happy and grunted, “Well…maybe another time, hmm?”

He stalked off and Andrea glanced at him and as he passed, questioned, “Funny…do I know you?”

He stopped and smiled, “Maybe.”

Her eyebrows raised as he walked from the club. Jon slammed down on a stool and sighed.

“I almost cheated on Tidus” he said flatly.

“I wouldn’t blame you if you had” she said simply, slamming down on the stool and ordering a drink.

“Really?”

“Nope…and don’t tell Adri that either. I think he still tries to think of Tidus as his little brother.”

Jon groaned, “Why can’t he be like that anymore? Why did he change? Why is he making it so it feels like I have to cheat on him?”

“I don’t know” she shook her head before pressing the glass to her lips and pausing, “Jynxy.”

“Hmm?”

“That guy…I don’t know who he is, but…I…I think he feels familiar.”

“Oh…?”

“…Yea.”

The translation of the song he’d been dancing to, Du Hast, had been argued over for decades. Of course, there was ‘do you hate me?’.

And then there was ‘Will you until death remain faithful for all days?”

Nein…

No

Section 12

Adrian walked home that night from a long day of work but knowing he was doing some dinner thing with the sages and knights. He wanted to sleep but alas...

Yelling came from somewhere and the voice seemed familiar...he frowned. Tidus...he was yelling at Vincent, who looked like he really didn't care...until Tidus grasped his wrist, turning him so that Vincent was staring at him when he yelled. Adrian grimaced and almost decided to go over...but Vincent had already ran off...

Adrian remembered when he was like Vincent...

It was so foggy now...it almost made him laugh, how much of a nightmare it had seemed to be. His life now made that seem like a fantasy gone wrong.

He didn't know how Vincent felt...but he knew he felt like he deserved it. He deserved all the beatings, the yelling, the starving...he just didn't know why.

Jaraq called him..."devil child" or...something. Man, he didn't even remember that? But some things probably were better left in the past...Jaraq was always drunk, always yelling, always so angry at him. Now, Adrian had to wonder if it was because his mother cheated on him. But...

His step-siblings heckled him a lot as well...he was a freak, how did he get those eyes, etc, etc. It gave him headaches.

What hurt him most was when his mother, the only one that had ever been semi-kind to him in that house, beat him in drunken fits of rage, blaming him for ruining her life...

Jaraq's mother had been the only woman that was ever nice to him, ironically, and he loved her for it...he would have done anything for her. And he made sure she knew that. She told him all the time how touching that was, that her own son and grandchildren wouldn't do the same. He wished, even now, that he could have done something for her...

She died...and left everything to him...including a check for millions of rlirs.

When Jaraq found out, he nearly killed Adrian and Adrian wasn't sure what to do...but, in those few moments, he found that he was...a freak.

He had wings.

He flew away, stood on the mountain tops, and stared at a place he never considered home. He swore away so many things at the age of 11...things that he knew he never wanted...

He learned that Jaraq did NOT love his mother...and if he did, he did not want this...'love'.

His kids...God, what would his kids look like? He'd be damned if his kids were heckled as he was.

A wife...a wife could either be like his mother, finicky and crazy...or she could just leave him and love him as...Jaraq loved his mother.

So

Love...

Wife...

Kids...

"...Damn, what happened?" he grumbled before waking.

Staring around, he was briefly confused but remembered he'd come outside into the brisk air while waiting for her.

So...he had a wife and FOUR children that he loved and adored...

Huh...

But the beatings, the abuse, it had made him so bitter. Did Tidus WANT to push his son away? To make his son want to leave and never come back? Because that's how Adrian had felt himself back then...did Tidus realize that he was slowly losing his child?

"Adri~."

He jumped up, surprised, and laughed, staring at his wife who just stared at him, confused, "Are you okay?"

"Uh, fine, just dozed off, is all" he insisted, smiling, "You ready to go?"

"Yea..."

They walked towards the restaurant, his head still filled with thoughts. He knew Tidus was still in there, that he didn't want to push Vincent away...

Adrian just wasn't sure why he was anyway...

Jon sighed as he had dessert alone, knowing that deep down he should have declined coming but no...

Tidus HADN'T wanted to come, which gave him reason to go in the first place. But because he was going anyway, Tidus had to come then. That just meant Jon couldn't suddenly change his mind...a lose-lose situation.

But when he got there, Tidus insisted on leaving because he didn't trust Vincent or Tifa to be alone by themselves. Jon said that if he wanted to go, then go. Vincent and Tifa were perfectly capable of taking care of themselves, however. Tidus then started ranting on about how Vincent was being rude to him now and that Jon should discipline him. Jon disagreed all because Tidus had led Vincent to this state and he had nothing to do with it, mostly because Tidus wouldn't let him get involved anyway. That sent Tidus into a rage...

It wasn't very polite of either of them, fighting in front of the others, who, awkwardly sort of parted to different parts of the restaurants. It was so irritating. Could Jon not have one peaceful night? Why was it always one argument after another?

He stood, putting down a tip, and started to walk on the deck to get some fresh air. Andrea was staring at something on the wall before glancing at him.

"Is he gone yet?"

"No, I think he's somewhere in the garden..." sighed Jon.

Jon glanced around for a moment before mumbling, "Where do you think I could find that guy again?"

She blinked, "Guy?"

"You know...the one from the club."

"Hmm..."

She glanced to her side, "I think he'd probably go back there. Seemed like his kind of place...but just remember, be careful if you do decide to do something..."

"I'm stll not sure" he sighed.

"If you're just going to feel really, really guilty, then don't" she shrugged, "But like I said, I can't blame you at all."

He opened his mouth to comment but grimaced as Tidus stalked over...

"I need to talk to Jon" he said briskly.

She crossed her arms and sighed, "Fine."

Walking off, Jon remotely thought about saying he forgot to tell her something just to get out of talking anymore with Tidus. As far as he was concerned, they were out of things to say.

"WHY am I the only one that cares that our son is a delinquent?!" he demanded angrily.

"Because Vincent is NOT a delinquent. If you didn't yell at him all the time--"

"I will not have my son raised without discipline! What would he be doing if I DIDN'T yell at him?!" Tidus snapped out further.

"You don't yell at him for no reason, Tidus! How is he supposed to know what he's doing wrong if you yell at him for everything?"

"I don't know how you were raised but he's not going to be some rebellious brat!"

What the hell was THAT supposed to mean? Before Jon could question, Adrian came over, glancing at the horrified hostess.

"Uh, guys, can you...talk about this elsewhere?"

"Stay out of this!" snapped Tidus.

"I have every intention to" Adrian said flatly, "But you don't have to yell at everyone in public, you know that, right?"

Tidus looked enraged, as if this was some ridiculous comment that didn't make sense, "Why don't you mind your own damn business?!"

Adrian grunted, "Because we're all sick of you being such an asshole to your family and yelling at them all the time!"

"Raise your screw up children how you want. Don't tell me how to raise mine!"

Adrian glared, seething, "What did you say?"

"You're telling me not to make sure my family is run correctly! Well, what I do with them is my authority" he hissed, "Just go home and fuck your wife! Everyone else seems to be doing the same."

"Tidus!" Jon glared.

Adrian had detested violence when he left Italy which just made him feel like a hypocrite when he became a knight...

...His screw up children? His kids...screw ups?

...Everyone...doing what to his wife?

The next thing he knew, he'd thrown a punch at Tidus and hit him square in the face.

Tidus yelped, cowering away in horror as Jon just watched, stunned. Adrian's family wasn't perfect, but screw ups? Never. His wife never cheated on him. Hell, he'd been the one that had had an affair. How dare this bastard talk about his family when he couldn't run his own?

"Adrian!"

He stopped, ready to strike again, before realizing that there was no reason to give Tidus the satisfaction. Nothing in this monster was the Tidus he'd known. Nothing...he dropped his fist, taking a deep breath as Tesstory and Andrea rushed over.

"Adri, what are you doing?" she demanded, pressing him back.

He opened his mouth to say something like, 'defending my family' or...something. But it didn't help. He bit his lip, forced a smile and shook his head, "Nothing...just fooling around."

Tesstory, never one to hold back, "Fooling around indeed. You just did what a lot of us have wanted to for a long time."

Adrian grimaced and Andrea took his hand, "C'mon, let's go home."

The three walked out with nothing more and Jon was at an utter loss until Tidus muttered.

"Barbarians..."

Jon stared at him for a moment before staring ahead.

He blinked and he was back at Lucifel's club, leaning against the fence, waiting, hoping, that whoever would come back...

He was sick of his life. He wanted to escape but he couldn't leave his children completely...he was stuck and he hated it.

"Ha...I knew you'd come back."

Jon jumped and looked up...

Perfect.

"...Yea, I was hoping I'd see you again" he replied.

"Problems at home?" he questioned airily.

"You have no idea..."

"Well then...let me make them all better" smiled the mysterious fellow.

Jon and Adrian had had one synchronized thought in the restaurant...they both had held onto that faint thread of hope that the Tidus they'd both knew would return.

And yet...

That thread snapped.

I...am puzzled about really what the tolerance is for 'adult' images...but I guess it doesn't matter. I guess I could uh...be banned @_@ But yea...I guess I can just tell you what pics to look at for what part... and also if you've forgotten from Swan Song/Infernoz/Marcus' Story, Vincent is scatterbrained and kind of ADD so that's why he's kind of ditzy in this part.

Outside readers...adult-ish.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chapter 13:
Vincent smiled coyly at the guy...what's his name again? Jake? Evan? Timothy...?
The naive boy looked at him shyly, "I...kind of like you."
"Kind of? That's depressing..." sighed Vincent absently.
"N-no, I mean..." he winced.
Vincent glanced at the clock and pursed his lips thoughtfully. His "mother" would be home in 20 minutes...he grinned to himself. Plenty of time...
"It's okay" he assured, "I think I kind of like you too..."
As an easy fuck...
Wasting no time, Vincent wrapped his arms around and kissed him aggressively. He was always aggressive with men...
Vincent remembered being depressed when he was sort of into guys because it made his mother happy...of course, it was great that he was sort of into girls because that just made his mother disgusted. He loved it.
He ripped off the boys clothes and his own which he could tell scared him senseless...this should be interesting. He always found virgins kind of interesting...
His mother yelled at him for having fling after fling with guys, citing that he was probably hurting their feelings or some bull. The hell if he cared at all. He ditched women in the same way so it wasn't like he was being...what would be the term for that? Sexuality...ist? No, no...bah. Tifa always said he was too blond.
At the same time though, he did treat guys a little differently...he was, for all extents, 'rough' and spared no liberties.
(Look on Pixcastle, use my AIM and when I say Jynxy is the ______ of ___ , use the first word SS, Scene 13, shot 2 in the Yaoi folder)
"Vincent..." whined...Carl?
"What?" Vincent questioned.
"I...uh, it kind of...hurts."
(SS, Scene 13, shot 3)
Vincent grinned to himself, not really bothering to ease up. Of course it hurt...the once he got Raihn to skip school with him (with the opportunity to shop), they went to the other world and found some store called "Spencers". They had a shirt that had an arrow pointing up saying half man...the arrow pointing down said 'half horse'. Raihn found it disturbing but he thought it was a very fitting description. She'd just smirked at him and said maybe for his birthday. Oh, he loved how Raihn humored him.
(SS, Scene 13, shot 4)
If it was up to him, however, Vincent would probably stay along his whole life...never ever had he heard any of his friend's parents make an issue out of what gender they would end up with. If Vincent was going to be forced into a relationship for that reason, he'd never be happy...
(SS, Scene 13, shot 5)
Peter moaned though Vincent was too deep in thought to really pay that much attention...it wasn't like he wouldn't end up with a guy, maybe. He wouldn't let his mother choose what would make him happy.
"Vincent Elliot McCue, what are you doing?!" demanded a voice from outside the door.
Alas...what if a girl made him happy? He adored fucking chicks...
"Vi-Vincent. Someone's knocking at the door" whined Jason.
"Don't talk, you're ruining the mood" growled Vincent.
"But--"
Screw all that. He didn't need to be with anyone seriously. Why not be a bachelor all his life? It'd just get boring otherwise...
Right?
His mother would be ticked off about that but he hated his mother and hoped he rotted in the hottest part of hell one day. He hadn't been happy a single day of his life...at least, when he was around his mother who just told him how much of a damn failure he was.
Speaking of his mother, he wondered when he'd be getting in...
(SS, Scene 13, shot 7)
"VINCENT!" shrieked Tidus.
Oops.
Jon stared down at the dinner Tidus had been cooking before he ran off to see exactly why Vincent was making so much noise upstairs...Jon really didn't see why this was a question anymore.
Somewhere along, his son and daughter became...sex-crazed. He wasn't sure why or how but he was pretty sure his 17-year-old son had more sex than he did...
Well, he didn't really want to get into that.
Tidus dragged Vincent downstairs, the boy being rushed out in tears. Vincent was shoved into a chair and yelled at...no, not for having sex in the house but for apparently being too insensitive with whoever the boy had been and that if Vincent wanted to have a meaningful relationship, he had to be more gentled. Vincent rolled his amber eyes before they brightened, bringing his fist down on the table as if he'd been enlightened.
"That's it! His name was Ollie!"
Tidus burst into tears of anguish as Jon just stared. He worried about his son.
"You know, you get into way less trouble when you screw around outside of the house..."
Vincent reclined on the couch, watching television, as Tifa, his twin sister, sat in front of him. He sighed, shaking his head, "That's so much effort though."
She smirked, "And being grounded and now having to sneak out and in isn't?"
He stroked his chin thoughtfully, "It's just two days though...that's not bad."
Tifa scooted over and he glanced at her as she knowingly questioned, "What day is it, baby brother?"
"Huh...? Mon- no...Sunday? No...I skipped Chemistry today..." he pondered, confused.
She snickered, "It's Thursday, Vinny, practice with Infernoz day."
He sat up, alarmed, "WHAT? Are you serious?!"
She sighed, "Vincent, you can at least know what day of the week it is..."
He flew to his feet and glanced at the clock, "Oh shit, I'm going to be late AGAIN."
"Hey, who said I would sneak you back in?" she questioned, focused on the television.
He knelt before her, "Please, I need to get out of here, I need my band! I'll do anything..."
Tifa waved him off, "I'm kidding. Go."
He kissed her on the mouth, one of those blatant incestuous things they both did to mortify their mother. He rushed out, needing to get away...
His band...
Is it wrong if I want your son? Lol.
But seriously. You can have me (in the story) kill him. I'd probably do it. XD Or I might just make him my pet-slave and keep him in a cage in the basement. Hmm... Razz That'd get him out of your hair at least, Orphy Very Happy
